War of the Species has been on onecall for some time now, and with good reason. I must admit, when I first spawned my mind said "eww." Alas though, you can't judge a pokémon by its pokéball. I played into the game and got lost dozens of times as spider, after that game there was a bad taste in my mouth associated with War of the Species.

Many games later, however, I've found that I love this map. Especially as Breeder or Engy. There are many stacking/hiding spots for teleporters and eggs, and many interesting routes between bases as well. The playability here is wonderful. This map reminds me of Starship Troopers. Note: if you intend to win on this map, it is dire that you have a good breeder / engineer. You simply cannot survive without some good base relocation.

The look of this map, well, I know this is already revised but there are a few things that I would like to see done with it. It already looks very good, most lighting is appropriate, and at the right level. What I would like to see is the exact same map, but with smoother organics. If the rocks and caves were round without edges it would be really cool. But hey I know that's asking a lot and that's why Lynch Hung's still getting 3 cubes. (You've got a perfect score in store for you if you do what I said Lynch I assure you ;) Still I know it's asking a lot, and this map still has WONDERFUL gameplay, so it gets the coveted GMD seal of approval!
